Amy started to stand on her own for longer periods of time and also took her first few steps on her own, which means walking for her is just right around the corner. There's also not a single way to get her to stay in one place for longer than five minutes. Even with her toys in the basement and me showing them to her she decides to crawl up the basement stairs at grandmas with a stuffed animal or two in her hands. It's hard to believe that it has been almost a year since she was born. I didn't believe people when they told me that it would go by fast, boy does it really go by. She continually keeps getting cuter and cuter every day :)
For me, Lord willing I plan to start school at the end of this month to get my Medical Assistant certification. I'm really looking forward to furthering myself, but not looking forward to the lessened time to spend with Amy. Up side is the program is only 10 months, so hopefully after that I will have tons more time with her. God's been faithful and continually showing me brand new things every day. I just love having God humble me day after day and showing me that I don't need to rely on myself alone or at all when I have God to rely on.
Driving down the road today I was reminded of God's beauty as I looked at the snow on the trees. Although definitely wasn't a fan of the snow on the roads I LOVED seeing the sun reflect off the snow. It's just awe striking how God takes two beautiful pieces of nature and combines them into one beautiful creation.
Psalm 50:2
Out of Zion, the perfection of beauty, God shines forth.
