I'm sitting here listening to Christmas music thinking of the responsibility I have to teach my daughter what Christmas is all about and truthfully it's a little nerve wrecking. It's my responsibility to instill the fear of God in this little girl. It's a lot of pressure it seems like, but I know that God is going to give me the words and guidance to do this and to show her who her true father is. Even though it is nerve wrecking I'm excited to be able to pass onto the next generation all that I've learned :)
I know I'm a rather scatterbrained writer, but people get used to it I guess haha! This past week I watched a movie called "Amazing Love." Wow, did it show me how much I can relate to a Bible story. It was very humbling to hear the story of Hosea and say wow I see myself so much in this story. Being able to share that with a person is even more humbling.
As I begin writing this new chapter, it starts with the switch to a new job. God's blessed Amy and I with giving me stepping stones back into the work force. Starting with Heidi's Farmstand and Bakery, I couldn't have asked for a better stepping stone to begin with. It brought me back into the work force slowly enough for both me and for Amy to adjust to. Then moving onto Interim Health Care for a more steady 40 hour week and now into Laurels of Kent for the best stability I could ask for. God' been faithful in helping me to take baby steps in my life and for that I'm ever so grateful!
In this new chapter I'm excited to be writing about a person that has become like a sister to me over the last ten months. Carrie and I are moving out together at the end of the month Lord willing and we're absolutely thrilled. It has been nice having Carrie around and even though we didn't start actually hanging our with each other outside of home until a few months ago I think it's really been a great experience for both of us.
God has just blessed me, my family and friends over these last months and He will continue to bless us in months to come!
Just a few pictures from the last few weeks!

Brandon Heath "Love Never Fails"
Love is not proud
Love does not boast
Love after all
Matters the most
Love does not run
Love does not hide
Love does not keep
Locked inside
Love is the river that flows through
Love never fails you
Love will sustain
Love will provide
Love will not cease
At the end of time
Love will protect
Love always hopes
Love still believes
When you don't
Love is the arms that are holding you
Love never fails you
Amazing love and marvelous work of God! So thankful for your insight. God's blessings this Christmas season.
